Kalshnikov rifles to become copyrighted and patented

About

Urban-Industrial logo“Strike! Hold!” is the motto of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment (in which I served from 1983-1986). To me, this is a good motto for special / unconventional ops:  ‘STRIKE’ from the sky, from the sea, or on land - and ‘HOLD’ true to your mission, your unit, your comrades.

This blog/web-zine is dedicated to special operations and unconventional combat. It is intended to be of interest to both real-deal troops and also to hobbiests and enthusiasts, and I hope to offer an approach that is independent, unique, accurate and always interesting.

As for my own background; I’m originally from Canada and now live in the UK.  In addition to living in the US for many years, and serving in the US Army, I have also lived a number of years in Germany and Holland.

Finally, my Grandfather served with a motorised recce squadron of the Canadian Army attached to the British in Libya during WWI – and one of his ancestors was a Scottish rebel who won The Battle of Killiekrankie.  So maybe I inherited my interest in special ops from him.  ;-)
