Remembering…

In the US we call it Veterans’ Day, in Canada we call it Rememberance Day, in the UK and the rest of Europe we call it Armastice Day. Whatever name you give it, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month is a date and time that should always be special and solemn. It is a date and time when we all pause and remember all the men and women over the years who’ve paid the ultimate price on our behalf so that we can continue to enjoy the comforts of peace and the priveleges of freedom. But don’t let it be the only date or the year that you pause and remember…

That’s why I’m posting these thoughts the day after the “official” date. That’s also why I’m posting a link to Dom Hyde’s thoughts on why this year’s Rememberance Day has special significance
