SODgear Combat Line review
Another excellent clothing and gear line that’s been our hit-list for a long time now is the Combat Line from SODgear (Special Operations Department) from Italy.
SOD make excellent gear and clothing with an absolutely superb combination of function, fit and form – with a dash of that Italian design flair thrown in to the mix. Naturally, their primary customers are the special operations units of the Italian Army, Navy, Air Force and law enforcement, with whom they also work very closely when developing and testing their products.
SOD also offer their goods in a range of tactically-appropriate solid colours and MultiCam as well as the standard Italian camouflage patterns, so their fan base has grown to include quite a few foreign units and operators too. In fact, SOD are also in the process of getting a US sister company (SOD-USA) up and running – so look to see even more operators rockin out in SOD’s kit in the future.
No doubt helping to pave the way on that last front, Military Morons recently reviewed a number of SOD’s core items from their Combat Line – including clothing in the very special “CB62” camouflage pattern, and SOD’s new “HCS” (Hybrid Coyote Sage) solid colour too.
See Military Morons’ full, in-depth reviews of SOD’s “Spectre D.A. Combat Shirt”, “Spectre Shirt 1.2” “Para One Pant 1.2”, and “CB62” line-up here.
